The control freak

 

What annoys you most about the control freak isn’t their obsessive need to plan every detail of your trip. It’s the fact that you’re not allowed to mock that obsessive need, because it’s the only reason your trip will go smoothly. We bet they weren’t among the 46 per cent of users who booked their summer destination less than five months in advance.

 

The snuggler

The benefits of separate beds are lost on the snuggler. They’re quite literally willing to snuggle you if it means saving on accommodation… most likely while sharing a room with five strangers in a flea-infested hostel. Travel trend reporter Luke Abrahams says affordability is  the current break out trend: “People are increasingly searching for inexpensive options.”

 

The one who loves a bargain

 

That £20 getaway to Amsterdam seemed too good to pass at the time… until the exam timetable was announced. Hey, you’re not alone: 60 per cent of users would consider an impulse trip based on a good deal.

 

The paranoid mess

Some 45 per cent of travel planners have called venues and hotels to book or to get more information after doing research on their smartphone. You know, just in case that Ibiza villa doesn’t actually exist.

 

The one who loves group chats

 

From the second your trip is on, they’ll be blowing up your phone with toiletry-related questions. You’ll soon realise they just want to pack light and scrounge off your suitcase. The only time they’ll go silent is when you’re locked outside your hotel room and they’re inside using your razor.
